Power Washing Services Inc D/B/A Hoodtech (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating under the brand Hood Tech International, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, to our service and billing communications, and to our text-messaging program.
Information we collect
We collect only the contact and service details you give us, and the records created when we serve you:
- Contact details — your name, business or facility name, email address, postal address and phone or mobile number.
- Service information — the site, equipment and services you request or receive, appointment history, photographs and service reports produced during the work, and notes needed to carry it out safely.
- Billing information — estimates, invoices and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
- Messaging information — the mobile number you give us, your consent to be texted, and the messages exchanged with us.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and deliver our services, confirm appointments and crew arrival, send the service and account communications described in our SMS Terms, answer your enquiries, prepare estimates, issue invoices and take payment, keep the service records that fire-safety codes and our insurers require, and meet our legal obligations.
Mobile information & text-message consent
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service and message delivery, is permitted solely so that we can deliver the messages you have asked for. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You give consent to receive text messages from Power Washing Services Inc D/B/A Hoodtech when you tick the optional consent box on our service-request form, when you give us your mobile number and agree verbally while booking or requesting service, or when you text our number first. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
Data security & retention
Your data is stored securely with access limited to the people who need it. We keep service records for as long as we serve you and for the period our insurers and applicable fire-safety record-keeping requirements call for, then dispose of them securely.
Your choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may ask us to correct, update or delete your information, or ask what we hold about you, using the contact details below, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be revised.
